This 200-hour programme is designed for those wishing to deepen their practice, study traditional yoga foundations, and step confidently into the role of a yoga teacher.

Whether you dream of teaching or simply want to enrich your personal practice, this training offers a supportive, nurturing environment for growth.

 

You’ll explore yoga philosophy, anatomy, intelligent sequencing, meditation, pranayama, Ayurveda, the subtle body, and the art of holding space with clarity and compassion.

A beautifully structured curriculum blending tradition, practical skills, mindful movement and self-discovery:

 

Asana & Alignment

Understanding key postures, safe alignment, adjustments, modifications, and intelligent sequencing.

 

Pranayama & Meditation

Learn classical breathing techniques, meditation foundations, and how to guide others safely.

 

Philosophy & Ethics

Explore Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Yamas & Niyamas, and the roots of yoga with modern-day application.

 

Anatomy & Physiology

Learn applied anatomy for yoga with expert teacher Fiona McIntosh, supporting safe and inclusive teaching.

 

Teaching Skills

Cueing, voice projection, class planning, theming, holding space, and confident class delivery.

 

Subtle Body & Chakras

Explore the energetic body, nadis, chakras, mantra, mudra and meditation practices.

 

Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers

Seasonal guidance, dosha awareness, daily routines, and how to weave Ayurveda into modern teaching.

Course Structure

 

The programme is delivered through:

    •    Monthly weekend modules (in person)

    •    180 contact hours

    •    20 non-contact hours (self-study, journaling, assignments)

    •    Practical teaching hours

    •    Final teaching assessment

    •    Ongoing feedback and mentorship throughout
